Newport Beach's 103rd Annual Christmas Boat Parade, December 14-18, 2011, 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Fireworks on the last night.  Free for landlubbers watching from the shore.  Yo-ho! More Here

Holidays at the Grove - December 17-24.  Fabulous Hanukah celebration on Tuesday, December 20, from 2:30-5:00 with a candle-lighting at 4:30.  Details here.

SAN FRANCISCO

The 33rd Annual Great Dickens Christmas Fair - November 25-December 18, 2011 (weekend days only). This looks really fun.  Entertainment on 6 stages, food, shopping and dress-up.  Learn more Here.
